If an item is an auction, it is best if it ends Sunday evening (around 7pm PST). You can use the scheduled start time on eBay to do this no matter when you create the listing. An auction can run 7 or 5 days. It doesn’t make too much of a difference as long as it runs over a weekend and preferably ends Sunday night.
If it does not sell on auction, relist it as a fixed price with Good Till Cancelled duration

One of the international buys that we are working with has one winning bid that is showing up as eligible for unpaid item case, which I sent as normal an invoice for the auction with shipping charges for her country, That auction closed on March 25Th. The shipping charges for that item far exceeded the item cost, so I have been communicating with her about that and I have agreed to let her add more items to the order to help with the shipping charges. I sent a second chance offer on the item she lost on the March 25Th auction which she accepted and I agreed to let her bid on the next auction which starts on April 3rd – April 8Th. I am waiting to invoice her till after the April 8Th auction so she can hopefully add more items to the invoice. The problem I think I have is the first Item she won and was invoiced for, is showing up as eligible for unpaid item case? This is not the case, we are working with her. Should I send a new invoice for the first item and the second chance offer to clear up the unpaid item notice? We have an agreement to let her bid on the next auction before I close out her invoice. How do I handle the unpaid item notice or do I need to.
Does it show as eligible for unpaid item case? If so, don’t worry—as long as you don’t Open an Unpaid item case, it will not be opened.
No reason to worry unless it is showing as Unpaid Item Case opened
