Shipsaver by Inkfrog is a great way to insure shipments domestic and internationally

by Shari Smith on November 25, 2009

eBay is now offering Shipsaver by Inkfrog as an application you can use within eBay if you are using Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro. By the way, Selling Manager is free and is a must if you are selling on eBay. With Shipsmart you can insure packages shipped by USPS or UPS and you can insure USPS international packages. It is a great way to insure shipments domestic and internationally, and it is cheaper than the Post Office insurance. It is .99 per $100 for domestic and $1.25 per hundred dollars for international up to $2,500. Check it out and read which Countries are excluded. Basically, the Countries that are excluded are Countries I would not recommend shipping eBay sales to anyway.

Hello Shari,

Although this was posted a couple of years ago, do you still like using Shipsaver for both domestic and international shipping?

Since eBay allows you to insure packages when printing the shipping label (even for international shipments) I do it then but if I forget, I then use Shipsaver

Shipsaver is difficult to deal with and rude. Will never used them again. If you have a small claim, no problem, but if it is more than 100 dollars they will give you a hard time. Are especially rude on the phone. If you have to deal with them do it by e-mail.
